Thursday, June 20, 2024 David Oles, President and CEO of AgVantis, Inc., will retire at the end
of 2024 after a decade in this pivotal role and a distinguished career spanning 42 years within the
technology services industry.
“David’s retirement will mark the end of an incredible chapter for AgVantis,” said AgVantis
Board of Directors Chair Kevin Swayne. “Under his leadership, AgVantis’ highly integrated
technology and business solutions resulted in robust loan growth and efficient operations for
our Owner Associations. In addition, AgVantis has achieved outstanding customer service and
employee engagement ratings.”
Oles has not only excelled in his role at AgVantis but has also made significant contributions to
various civic organizations. His commitment to community service is exemplified by his tenure
on the boards of Make-A-Wish of Missouri and Kansas, the Boys and Girls Club of Central Kansas
and Junior Achievement of Kansas. Kevin Swayne acknowledged David’s exemplary leadership
and service, highlighting his role in advancing both Farm Credit and the broader community.
“When I reflect on my journey here, I am filled with gratitude,” said Oles. “Gratitude for the
opportunities I have had to lead, to innovate, and to work alongside such talented individuals.
Together, we have weathered challenges, celebrated victories, and built something truly
extraordinary. I am confident in the future of AgVantis. Our foundation is strong, our team is
capable, and our vision is clear. I have no doubt that under new leadership, AgVantis will
continue to thrive and achieve even greater heights.”
LOOKING FORWARD
In January 2024, AgVantis announced its strategic investment in AgVantis 2.0, a transformation
aimed at providing adaptable technology solutions and services to meet the unique needs of Farm
Credit Associations. Oles’ leadership has been essential to both defining this vision as well as
guiding the organization to a successful launch. The AgVantis Board anticipated the timing of
this CEO transition and expressed confidence that the organization has the preparedness,
leadership, and commitment to continue the journey and achieve the vision of AgVantis 2.0.

stronger legacy,” said Swayne. “Because of our team’s talent and commitment, we are confident
that our leadership and technology transition will thrive and that we will continue to provide
Farm Credit Associations with the technology, financial services, and operational support they
need to fulfill their mission to serve rural America.”
The Board will be selecting a recruiting partner and conducting a nationwide search for a leader
best suited to drive AgVantis’ future success. Further information regarding the CEO selection
process will be forthcoming soon.
Oles added, “To our Owner-Associations, AgVantis employees, my peers in the Farm Credit
System, and all the wonderful people I have met along the way, I want to express my deepest
appreciation. I am honored and humbled to have been part of this journey with all of you. To
the Board of Directors, thank you for your trust and support throughout my tenure. Your
guidance has been invaluable, and I am grateful for the opportunity to have served you.”
